In this sculpture, a woman contains within her embrace a tree that seems green, is leafless but nevertheless bearing fruit. The tree reflects the actual nature of any situation that can never be satisfactory in all aspects. These fruits contain the seeds that can shape her tomorrow. In the years that follow, her acts of love and magnanimity or greed and jealousy would shape her destiny in an affectionate family or a sterile home for the old.
